Happy St. Patrick's Day!

May your blessings outnumber
The shamrocks that grow,
And may trouble avoid you
Wherever you go.
St. Paddy's Day, always getting the short end of the stick...

Favorite Import of the Day: Patrick Gibson

I think my next Netflix binge watch just might be The OA. Not sure if anyone has checked it out, but I have been reading some good reviews, especially for 21 year old Dublin native Patrick 'Paddy' Gibson' Gibson plays Steve Winchell, a drug dealing bully who unleashes his pain through violence. Gibson, who some may have seen on The Tudors is getting great reviews for his role in the supernatural mystery.

Exceedingly Irish: Seamus O'Reilly by JDT Photo

Séamus:
(Irish pronunciation: ʃeːməs) a male first name of Celtic origin. It is the Gaelic equivalent of the name James.
O'Reilly
(Irish: Ó Raghallaigh) is a group of families, ultimately all of Irish Gaelic origin, who were historically the kings of East Bréifne in what is today County Cavan.

I can almost here Friends Phoebe Buffay asking 'Could he be anymore Irish?' When I was thinking of the perfect Irishman to help celebrate St. Patrick's Day, I could not think of anyone better suited than Seamus O'Reilly. Although Seamus was born in Chicago, his name, not to mention his fair skin and physical features bring together so many qualities we traditionally connect with hot Irish men!

'I’ve got a friends who told me that if I ever shaved that they’d stop talking to me. My fire-bush has gotten me more photo shoots than anything else, because that’s something that not a lot of people have.'

I remembered that Jesse from JDT Photography had previously sent on these shots of Seamus and today seemed the perfect day to share them. I love the way Jesse so beautifully captures his models, especially when photographing the male form outside. Although these images were not in Georgia, the lush green has you feeling like you could be in a forest in Ireland.

I have seen Seamus captured in many photo shoots, but I think Jesse's is by far one of my favorites. Because of his work in adult films, Seamus is generally shot in studio, with a focus on his harder edges. I love the softness Jesse captured, and the quiet beauty of Seamus alone in the fields and the woods. Even his eyes are softer, projecting less of the sexual energy he is known for, and more of the peace and beauty of both the moment, and then environment surrounding him.

Shenanagans: Alex by New Manhattan Studios

'Let The Shenanagans Begin!'

Yes, spell checker might correct the word to shenanigans, but if it's St Patrick's Day, and you happen to be a sizzling hot leprechaun, all of your manky deeds of the day are best described as shenanagans with a 'a', not an 'i'. Last St. Paddy's day, we celebrated with New Manhattan Studios emerald laced shot of Alex Corso as Los Colombian Leprechaun.

After a bit of bugging, (not too much) Wes went back to the shoot to edit a few new shots to celebrate this years holiday full of shenanagans and malarkey. Although Colombian, Alex certainly possesses the luck of the Irish with regards to his career. Not only is he one sexy and jammy Leprechaun in front of the camera, he also spends his work days surrounded by gorgeous men in the studio as a PA and photographer for the studio.

Psst....A little troll, (not a leprechaun, they don't spread gossip) recently told me that NMS is moving to new digs. Hopefully soon we can see the results of Alex's hard work in his new surroundings. Hopefully we'll also see more fellow leprechaun's that Alex assists and photographs. (Not to mention his job related duty applying make-up to their pots of gold.)
