The White Dress Shirt: Nas by Lights On Studio

'Clothes make the man. Naked people have little or no influence on society.'
Mark Twain

The last time I featured Tom Nakielski's (Lights On Studio) work with the stunning Nas, he was surrounded by luxury and elegance. The setting, a visit to a newly restored Victorian home. (Victorian Life) Give the setting, Nas began his visit in dressed up in a suit. The visit ended of course, with Nas completely naked and the suit, dropped onto the freshly sanded and stained hardwood floors

Tom has shot Nas several times in a variety of locations and in a variety of themes. I think this shoot, a little more casual the previous location, is one of my favorites, and one of the hottest. Nas has a fit, tight body that looks amazing with, or without clothes. I think in this case, the white dress shirt and jeans serve to show off his lines and curves more than cover them. If the little black dress is a main staple in a woman's wardrobe, the plain white dress shirt, is the equivalent for men.

I love how Tom shot Nas in his dress shirt and jeans and the poses captured. The simplicity of the surroundings, and Nas' wardrobe keep the focus exactly where it should be. With slight changes in body position, slight alterations to how the shirt is worn, and how low the jeans are pulled down, creates a incredibly sexy set of images which not only show off Nas' magnificent physique, but also his beautiful face and eyes. And... just to give a little push back to Mark Twain, Tom images of Nas capture what I see as a very influential, at least to me, nakedly dressed man.
